The Unfinished Heart

I went away but I never left you
I was absent but I was always there
My body was a thousand miles away
Distance divided us in two
Though far apart
Refused to leave the smell of the unknown
when two hearts interact in love
the spiritual energy exchanges one with the other

I might be broken inside but everything can be fixed.
You might have been hurt by her

But that doesn't mean the world has ended.
It doesn't mean you cannot love again.

I came to you unfinished

 Carefully placed you in the whispering distance

To become a reason for your victory.
 You know my trust in you

 And I want you to be able to trust me too.
I've seen the rest of you.

I loved you a lot
But only for the reason
that I should never
come up over and above
your top.
