Some Unlistened Moments

Dr.Sudhansu Dash

A little music played out of doors by somebody
I do not know
Such moments fill with more delight
Than all the listened moments could ever contain.
I shudder at the mystic joy.
The problems of the world cannot possibly be solved by skeptic ears
Whose horizons are limited by the cynic realities.
Men are needed who can dream of things that never were
The unheard melodies of the Beyond
Life is but a fragile dewdrop in its perilous way
Hanging on the margin of a leaf
Counting the pulse of falling down at any moment.
The melody seems not to stop there to sing the further
In the sensation of the dissolved present.
It bears all good reasons to be contend
The nearest dream recedes, unrealized.
The heaven we chase
Like the June bee
Our races are nurtured by the dark
Dare not to listen the insider
 in the white heat
In keen and quivering ratio with ecstasy
The sky at the closest distance sings in me
The beggar’s banquet best defines

What empty it is within.
