Autograph of an Illegitimate Child

Dr.Sudhansu Dash

He knows that he knows
But
He has not converted his knowing into knowledge.
His autograph is never found in a public place
Nor becomes a point of attraction to any.
He does not carry the burden of a name.
The day he discovered himself on the street
Thousands of names were thrown upon him
Of different sounds of incivility
Arranged in an undisciplined way
Carelessly scattered here and there.
His parents may be looking at him
From among the crowd
Showering all their gathered sins
Upon his delicate body
Standing at a safe distance
To prove their sacred and virgin presence.
The illegitimate!
Is he born without the union of to natures?
Has he no hunger, passion, and compassion
Like we pseudo-civilized beasts?
Is the emotion of a heart illegitimate?
Nobody is careful to his untold story
His crime is that
He does not know his father and mother
His illegitimate blood promises a life
To flow in any legitimate sick vain
Counting the pulse of the ego.
You may delete his presence from your civil street
But can you!
Can you delete nis signature from your legitimate blood?
Every hearts blossoms with thousand of petals
His humanity pervades everywhere
From dust to cosmos
Justifying the presence of life moment to moment
Remaining a blank horoscope of a discounted birth

In the diary of the insane people.
