YOU AND ME
Dr Sudhansu Dash
Time walks ahead of me
To bring a stop to life one day
But I could not collect the trust
Amidst mountains of beliefs.
Evening is ahead
Heading towards an unpenetrating darkness
Who can say?
How long I this stage?
When shall drop the cotton?
You live some more days
Taking the remains of my life
All my feelings may turn to be selfless offerings
In this hopeless void
Nothing remains
But the memory of a hunted bird.
The smell of life never comes
Everything unfinished ad unwanted
The river dries of in the mid way
With a warm kiss on the desert’s
cheek
Before it melts into the ocean
Stretching to the horizon
I have become as silent as
A no-moon sky
Half made remained the life
Everything distorted from the beginning.
